SUMMER signing Matt Lench scored twice to maintain Slough’s unbeaten pre-season so far. The game was typical slow-paced friendly fare until the last quarter of an hour, when it was bought to life in stunning fashion.
There was little action in a first 45 minutes which unsurprisingly ended goalless and not a lot changed in a second half that was only really notable for substitutions and passing errors until Lench let fly with a thunderous strike from 22 yards.
