Hayes’ loyal few deserve a lot more

I READ with interest The NLP’s article on Hayes & Yeading (July 16)–how sad it is to see a club in such crisis!
To be honest, I’ve never really seen the point of Hayes & Yeading – the merger of two clubs with no spiritual home and, therefore, no real fan base to call their own.
Now, they are playing Step 4 football with a halffinished stadium that they, realistically, will probably never move into.
The future now looks very bleak and my thoughts go out to the suffering loyal few who traipse from one groundshare to the next to support of their club.
