MANAGER Alan Lewer says the addition of Steven Schumacher will be the driving force in Southport’s engine room as they prepare to take their position on the National League North starting grid next weekend.
Having inherited only one player from the squad that slumped to an ignominious relegation from the top level of Non-League football last season, Lewer has conducted a summer of mass change during his first two months in charge at the club.
