■ ANDY Barcham’s 68th minute goal edged AFC Wimbledon past Ebbsfleet as the Fleet completed their pre-season schedule ahead of their return to the National League.
After a first half of good possession football without any penetration from both sides – “I was bored to be honest” declared Daryl McMahon – the game livened up in the second period, and the Dons should have gone ahead on 56 minutes when Luke Coulson handled in the area, but Cody McDonald’s penalty kick was well saved by Nathan Ashmore.
