TWO goals in two minutes midway through the second half from Sutton’s Kieron Cadogan turned this friendly around after Chelmsford had been the better side in the first half and deservedly led through Michael West’s 18th-minute opener. West struck with a spectacular overhead volley after Sutton had failed to clear a Micky Spillane free-kick.
Sutton struggled to get going in the first half, although Cadogan sent a dipping volley just wide and substitute Craig Dundas was denied by the legs of goalkeeper Sam Beasant.
