TWENTY FIVE years after Church left the Southern League, they returned to the same level of play for their opening game in the Evostik South.
And it took just 13 minutes for the league newcomers to make their mark.
Tom Turton’s corner was headed on by Josh March, and youngster Luke Yates swept the ball in from ten yards.
Earlier Danny Dubidat steered the ball past keeper Ben Chapman only to see Joe Kearns clear his goalbound effort off the line.
