BANGOR CITY fired an early warning to their Welsh Premier League rivals that they mean business this season as they overwhelmed reigning champions The New Saints 5-2 at the Bangor University Stadium.
TNS, who have dominated the league for most of the past decade having won it for the past six seasons, did not know what had hit them as the Citizens produced a superb performance.
And it was a great night for former Cardiff City Under-23 player Kevin Nicholson, with the new Bangor manager in charge of a Welsh Premier League match for the first time.
