JAMIE Short’s late goal earned Tiverton a point at the Meadow. Chesham took the lead after 25 minutes with the first effort on goal, Oran Swales running from halfway before firing in a shot that beat Martin Rice and found the bottom corner.
The goal brought some life to the game and Tiverton came close twice, firstly when Chesham failed to clear a Callum Hall corner and Michael Landricombe hooked over, then Levi Landricombe wasted a good chance with a tame shot that was saved.
