MICKY Moore’s first match in charge of Barrow ended with a draw – although victory and defeat were both likely on some point.
As the likes of Hartlepool United, Dagenham and Redbridge and AFC Fylde have already discover this season, Maidenhead are no pushovers and at times it looked like they would claim another National League scalp.
They led through Adrian Clifton’s firsthalf poke home – on the back of some fine wing play by the outstanding Sam Barratt – and had several chances to increase that advantage before the break.
