SUBSTITUTE Luke Shaw and Danny Meadows both got second half goals to give Grantham Town the three points against Whitby Town.
The home side made the early running and they were rewarded on six minutes when Jordan Hempenstall was fouled in the box by Steven Snaith.
Hempenstall took the penalty kick himself but Shane Bland in the Whitby goal made a comfortable save diving to his right to keep the score level.
And this was the signal for Whitby to take control of the game for the remainder of the first half.
