JOE Tait scored at both ends as Spennymoor recorded their third consecutive 1-1 draw at home to Gainsborough.
The Moors skipper attempted to pass the ball back to goalkeeper Dan Lowson but misjudged his kick, resulting in the ball rolling over the line.
He made amends later in the half to earn Spennymoor a point, burying a penalty after David Foley was brought down by Nathan Stainfield.
Glen Taylor had a great chance to win it late on, but both sides settled for a point after a hard-fought contest.
