■ TRAFFORD’S woes continued with a disappointing defeat to Prescot.
As half-time approached, Trafford began to dominate and Kingsley Williams screwed a shot wide from 12 yards.
In the 51st minute Cables took the lead when a long ball found Jordan South worth, and he held off defender Ally Brown to fire home the opener.
Five minutes later Williams saw his penalty saved by Marcus Burgess and, despite a late rally, Jordan Wynne secured the points when he converted from the penalty spot.
