ALTRINCHAM produced some classy football to take the spoils at Barwell.
Two first-half goals put them in the driving seat and although the home side hit back midway through the second half, a late strike from Tom Peers wrapped up the points for the visitors.
There was little to choose between the sides early on but Altrincham gradually grew into the game and opened the scoring on 17 minutes when Max Harrop swept the loose ball over the line at the far post.
Cheered on by a sizeable travelling contingent, the impressive visitors added a second five minutes before the break.
