ROBSmith began his second spell at Hednesford with a comfortable victory over Sutton Coldfield Town.
After an even opening to the game, the Pitmen broke the deadlock in the 14th minute when Danny Glover played in Luke Rodgers who drove forward before firing home.
Nine minutes later the lead was doubled when James Lawrie did well to set-up Glover and the striker fired the ball into the net from 12 yards.
Although this rocked Sutton, Gurjit Singh broke forward on the half-hour mark but saw his effort easily saved by Hednesford goalkeeper James Wren.
