CORBY crashed to a narrow defeat after a first-half penalty proved the difference between the sides.
Corby started by creating two excellent chances but poor passing at the critical moment let them down.
The visitors were gifted the lead from the penalty spot after keeper Paul Bastock was adjudged to have felled John Higham.
Higham picked himself up and easily netted from the resulting penalty.
In reply, a good cross from Sam Warburton found Connor Kennedy’s head but the defender’s effort went wide of the target.
