INDIVIDUAL errors cost Whitby as Sutton grabbed a point from their seaside trip.
After Andy Monkhouse headed wide for Whitby and Sutton’s Ashley Vincent forced the backpedalling Shane Bland to tip over, Whitby went ahead on 20 minutes.
It was a testing through ball from Adam Gell for Davey Carson to slide in, with goalkeeper Mason Springthorpe on the edge of the visitors’ box. The ball then dropped kindly for the recalled Whitby forward to walk home.
