A FIERCE top-of-the-league encounter could have gone either way with both sides going close in the dying seconds.
Visitors Whyteleafe set their stall out early on when Jerry Amoo’s first-time shot went just wide.
For Casuals, Coskun Ekim was outstanding in midfield setting up a series of dangerous moves.
However, Leafe keeper Matte Pierson was rarely troubled.
In the second half, Casuals substitute Jordan Clarke broke through only to shoot straight at Pierson.
Then Whyteleafe substitute Scott Day headed over when well placed.
