THE IRON put in a five star performance to send Hungerford home with a heavy defeat.
The first clear chance fell to the visiting Crusaders when Gareth Thomas’ half-volley was tipped over by Nathan McDonald.
The visitors continued to press and McDonald went full stretch to hold a low drive from Louie Soares.
