LEEK took the spoils in a game that demanded a higher scoreline.
The first half saw Carlton bolt out of the gates, with Jordan Wilson forcing a save early and seeing another shot roll just past the post.
New signing Kaylum Mitchell drilled a shot only to find Leek’s Ben Chapman’s finger tips.
Micheal Calveley headed directly at Jack Steggles, with Tim Grice giving the Carlton keeper another tough save.
A very dull second half ended with Leek captain Darren Chadwick finding Jordan Johnson who slotted home past a tired Miller’s back...
