FROME eventually triumphed 2-1 thanks to goals from Sam Teale and George Miller though they were indebted to goalkeeper Kyle Phillips.
The match started at pace and Frome could easily have found themselves two goals down in the first five minutes.
But they survived and took the lead in the 16th minute as Jon Davies produced a perfect chip over the defence to allow Teale to control and hit a low right foot shot into the net.
