ANTHONY Thomas scored a late winner as Uxbridge came from behind to beat Northwood.
In an end-to-end game both sides went very close to breaking the deadlock, but it was not until the second period when we had a goal – as Meshach Williams headed home for the visitors.
Uxbridge pushed hard in the second period and finally broke through 15 minutes from time, as Dave Thomas flicked the ball home for the equaliser from a free-kick.
Uxbridge pressed hard for the winner with several longrange shots off target.
