MICHAEL Toner scored a 95th minute penalty to gift Hertford Town all three points.
Hertford suffered an early blow when Charlie Edwards was injured in the ninth minute.
On 52 minutes, the hosts saw Jason Beck sent off for a tackle in what looked a harsh decision.
As the time edged closer to full time, Hertford keeper Charlie Mann produced two good saves in as many minutes.
But in the 94th minute, the Blues were awarded a penalty, and Toner stepped up to send the goalkeeper the wrong way.
