■ MICKLEOVER weathered the firstminute dismissal of Jake Scott to take full points from rain-sodden Wincham Park.
Sports played the entire first period with their remaining ten men behind the ball, but the home side failed to trouble visiting goalkeeper Lewis King.
Despite their advantage, Witton’s patient approach play lacked any cutting edge and the closest they came to breaking the deadlock was when a stray back pass almost eluded King.
