GEORGE BAILEY marked his Biggleswade debut with a match-winning hat-trick to see off Farnborough at the Langford Road Stadium.
The visitors dominated the first half in the middle of the park but created few chances. And Biggleswade keeper Liam Gooch intercepted or gathered everything which came his way to frustrate the visitors.
Boro’s Keith Emmerson and Kieron Forbes both tried from distance but Gooch was equal to both. And three minutes before half-time, against the run of play, the hosts took the lead.
