■ON NON-LEAGUE Day, Sutton welcomed the Lord Mayor of Birmingham as their special guest to Coles Lane but they were unable to produce the performance they needed to claim all three points.
Their opponents in this Evo-Stik Premier League game were Lancaster City sitting in sixth place in the League.
Following two awful games where they conceded 11 goals and only replied once, mangers Richard Sneekes and Steve Hinks shook up the team with five new players making their debuts.
