SATURDAY proved a day Charlie Little will be keen to forget after his own goal gifted Hertford Town three points.
The visitors thought they had taken an early lead through Tommy Wade only for the linesman to rule it out, and Tilbury broke the deadlock midway through the first half with a goal from Emiel Aiken.
But Hertford got themselves on the scoresheet before half time, Brett O’Connor equalising with the help of a slight deflection.
Few chances came in the way of either side after the restart, but with less than 15 minutes left on the clock...
