GRANTHAM and Stalybridge fought out a goalless draw at the Meres where defences came out on top.
Grantham’s Lee Shaw went close in the opening minute but it was Stalybridge who created the next two chances with John Cofie shooting wide from distance and Theo Bailey Jones bringing a save from Grantham keeper Kieran Preston.
In general, defences were well on top although both Lee Shaw and Stefan Galinski forced saves from Celtic keeper Jack Walton.
