IT WAS honours even after an exciting finale at Twerton Park. Substitute George Rigg’s 79th-minute strike gave City the lead before Braintree’s Karl Oliyide cancelled it out six minutes later.
City started brightly as Marvin Morgan nearly marked his return with an early goal, but he skewed wide from Tom Smith’s cross.
Luke Southwood was fortunate to gather Oliyide’s low drive at the second attempt as the Iron looked to break the deadlock.
Samir Bihmoutine also headed a Phil Roberts cross against the post as Braintree grew...
