TOOTING continued their recent improvement with a third consecutive win but they had to work hard for the points.
The early pressure came from Tonbridge and was rewarded after 11 minutes when Joe Turner’s pile driver from 25 yards gave Tooting ‘keeper Mattie Pierson no chance.
The lead was to last only three minutes when good running off the ball by Omar Folkes gave the Terrors forward the chance which he accepted shooting low past Angels keeper Jonny Henly.
