A DRAMATIC late penalty saved a point for Ashton after the visitors had recovered from a two-goal deficit.
The hosts were first out of the blocks as Alex Johnson scored. On 20 minutes Liam Tomsett picked up a loose ball and made space before curling the ball perfectly home.
Just one minute later and a mistake by Dominic Smalley allowed Paul Clayton to stride into the area and pull one back.
And just past the half hour matters were all square as a long ball put Nicky Walker clear and his cross was helped into this own net by Simon Woodford.
