THATCHAM manager Danny Robinson saw his substitutes come up trumps and steer his Hellenic League side through to the second round.
Jemel Johnson completed a fine comeback against the Southern Combination visitors by scoring the winner in the 81st minute.
It was a neat finish and came shortly after Anthony White, who also stepped off the bench, had notched the equaliser.
It was no more than Thatcham deserved for the way they re-grouped after the setback of conceding an early goal.
