CITY PLAN ON RIGHT TRACK

CAMBRIDGE CITY’S quest for a new stadium is back on track – and chairman Kevin Satchell is hoping the hiccups are finally behind them.
The planning committee of South Cambridgeshire District Council voted in favour by eight votes to two for the community facility in Sawston.
The planning committee approved the application in June 2014, but it was invalidated earlier this year following a successful objection from a local resident.
But the EVO-STIK South East club have been given the green light again and it now needs to be signed off by the Secretary of State.
