DENTON DELIVERS FOR THE TIGERS

AN EARLY second-half goal from Alec Denton was enough for Worksop Town to see off former Vase winners Dunston UTS on Tyneside. Top scorer Denton, slotted in by Jake Currie, raced clear with home appeals for offside ignored to score the all important goal during the first half.
The Tigers were rock solid defensively with Lee Hilloutstanding, with Dunston always looking unlikely to be able to find a way through the defence.
