ROMULUS secured their victory of the season in a nervy win over Stocksbridge Park Steels.
Drew Alton opened the scored for the Roms with a well-taken finish in the first ten minutes. But their lead didn’t last long as Joe Lumsden was able to find a way through and finish with ease to level things up. Just before half-time the hosts were back in front when defender Cameron Lee came up with a bullet header to make it 2-1. Former Walsall man Harry Harris then made it 3-1 for Romulus before Stocksbridge found a consolation late on.
