■MARGATE overcame nineman Lowestoft in a game which was developing into a close affair until the dismissals. The Trawlerboys lost prolific striker Jake Reed on 68 minutes when he petulantly threw the ball into the face of Lee Prescott.
Worse was to follow for the Trawlerboys as they reduced to nine, nine minutes later when Travis Cole was adjudged to have brought down Jordan Chiedozie in the area. The big striker converted the spot-kick. The visitors were already leading at that point thanks to a scrambled effort from Kane Haysman.
