ALVECHURCH were left scratching their heads at just how their clash with Newcastle Town ended goalless.
Losing just twice at home all season, the hosts had the better of the opening but couldn’t find the early breakthrough.
By the end of the half Newcastle had forced their way back into proceedings as Aaron Bott was denied, though neither team could do enough to break the deadlock.
Yet the second half was complete and utter Alvechurch domination, even having a goal ruled out for offside.
A plethora of shots went begging in the latter stage...
