HEDNESFORD TOWN 2 STALYBRIDGE CELTIC 1

■A LAST-MINUTE goal from Hednesford Town’s Danny Glover saw the home side claim the points in a close encounter against Stalybridge Celtic. The Pitmen made a strong start to the game and struck first in the 11th minute. The ball was played through to James Fitzgibbon and he rounded Joe Slinn to fire home. In the 20th minute some good football from Hednesford saw Glover shoot over the bar from inside the penalty area.
