APOSSIBLE sendingoff not given, an injured linesman and free-kicks aplenty almost spoilt an excellent game of football at Sheerien Park. Referee Michael Barlow had his work cut out for him on an afternoon when managerless Shaw Lane looked rejuvenated after Craig Elliott took the job at Boston United.
The game could have gone very differently had a red card been shown to Ducks captain Ryan Qualter on nine minutes. His apparent shove on Kyle Parry in retaliation could have resulted in the home side losing a man in the ear...
