A BENBailey goal ten minutes from full-time saw Hednesford Town claim all three points.
The Pitmen made the perfect possible start to the game when Danny Glover confidently fired home from the penalty spot after James Fitzgibbon had been fouled.
The visitors should really have drawn level in the 33rd minute but Nathan Cartman fired his low effort wide.
Six minutes later Hednesford goalkeeper James Wren had to react quickly to deny Luke Parkin.
