PETERBOROUGH Sports slipped to yet another one goal defeat, this time at the hands of Leek Town at Lincoln Road.
The Turbines went down 2-1 against their opponents from Staffordshire after Liam Davies scrambled the ball past Sports goalkeeper Dan George.
First blood though went to the home side just before the 15- minute mark, after Dan Lawlor’s free kicked was volleyed in by Olly Medwynter. Leek got themselves back into the game when Robert Stevenson managed to get a shot on goal and score, despite lying on the ground.
