AN INTRIGUINGbattle between third and fourth in the table ended honours even at Colston Avenue.
It was a tense affair in the first half despite three of the league’s top scorers on display.
But the home fans went into the break stunned as Paris Hamilton-Downes gave away a 45th-minute penalty which Michael Power converted for his 20th goal of the season.
Carshalton equalised six minutes after the break however through an unlikely source – defender Danny Dudley heading home his first of the season to restore parity.
