LEWES retained top spot after a tough draw at Greenwich Borough.
The hosts made all the running in the early stages as Lewes struggled to make an impression, Jack Barham and Charlie Macdonald both going close.
Borough took a 68th minute-lead when Chinedu McKenzie rose highest to head home Macdonald’s cross.
Just reward for Lewes’ commitment came eight minutes from time as Frankie Chappell’s header was steered home from close range by substitute George Landais.
