DANNY Young’s early goal was all that was needed as Phoenix Sports secured victory at home to Horsham.
Young found the back of the net after just three minutes played, and Phoenix soon missed a chance to double their lead as the ball was put in the box, only to go wide of the posts.
The Hornets soon started to get into the game, but struggled to capitalise on their chances.
Phoenix went close in the second half, hitting the post, but couldn’t add more goals to their lead.
