ANGELO BALANTA’S early strike stretched Boreham Wood’s unbeaten league run to 11 games.
Balanta put the Wood ahead in just the seventh minute; the midfielder had latched onto a rebound in the visitor’s box and blasted it past a helpless Jay Lynch.
The Wood continued to have the better chances as the half wore on, and Shaun Jeffers missed from close range.
