BILLY TURNS TO COLLINS

STRUGGLERS FC Halifax Town have turned to experience with the signing of former Huddersfield and Scunthorpe midfielder Michael Collins.
The 31-year-old has been brought in by manager Billy Heath to address a woeful run and made an immediate impact, helping the Shaymen to a 1-0 win at Aldershot yesterday, their first victory in the National League since September 30.
Collins will be with the newly-promoted side for the remainder of the season, having started his career with neighbours Huddersfield Town, making 173 league appearances and scoring 19 goals between 2004 and 2010.
