MILDENHALL took an early lead and never looked back. A ball from the left was glanced on at the near post and Claudio Ofosu volleyed home.
It was 2-0 with 15 minutes to play when Gareth Simpson sent in a deep cross and Thomas Debenham stooped low to score with his head.
Canvey pulled one back three minutes later when George Sykes was hauled down inside the box. The decision seemed soft, but Ryan Melaugh wasn’t worried about that as he sent Jacob Marsden the wrong way.
