ISSUE: Private medical insurance needs to be looked at

I READ with great interest the Mark Harris interview (NLP, January 7) and endorse his objectives and outlines in highlighting some of the campaigns and regulations that are led by the Premier League and the EFL.
We need look at the regulations, for example the lack of private medical insurance to support players who sustain serious injury.
Players at our level, as we know, have full-time jobs and may not get any income at all whilst out injured for long periods and left in no-man’s land whilst they wait months on the NHS for sc...
