The Anchors clawed their way back into the game at 2-2 before Kyle Patton, Callum Johnston and Josh Nearney wrapped up proceedings.
Leaders Morpeth Town put on a fine attacking display to defeat Billingham Synthonia 6-0, with Mark Davison netting a hat-trick for the Highwaymen.
Washington shared the spoils with Sunderland RCA, having lead through Vinny Gash’s goal before Colin Larkin equalised just after the hour.
