A BRACE from Witton forward Rob Hopley was the biggest factor at Wincham Park.
Hopley gave Witton the lead after three minutes with a close-range finish.
The Dabbers responded swiftly and almost equalised when Matt Bell nearly finished a well-worked move.
James Foley doubled the lead on the half-hour mark with a wind-assisted free-kick that keeper Fabian Spiess was unable to keep out.
The Albion went into the break with a 2-0 lead, leaving the visitors with a second-half mountain to climb.
However, Nantwich grabbed a goal back with 20 minutes to go...
