STAINES roared to a second successive 4-2 win, but it was certainly not all plain sailing.
Both teams carved out chances before Elliott Buchanan open the scoring on 18 minutes turning smartly and finding the bottom corner after receiving a through ball from Bayley Brown.
Buchanan and Wadah Ahmidi both came close to increasing Staines’ lead, but it was not until first-half stoppage time that Buchanan netted again from a superb free-kick.
